Incredible 1980’s Victor Costa for Fine Feathers dress. Made from a crisp cotton fabric, it features a showstopping oversized bow at the bust in vivid rainbow stripes on a strapless bodice with red geometric motifs that pop against the ivory base. The double-tiered skirt is gathered at the waist for volume and movement, and it’s trimmed with coordinating rainbow stripes and bold red triangles, giving the whole piece a graphic, almost pop art vibe! The silhouette is structured with boning in the bodice for support and a sturdy back zipper. There is a faint stain near the side of the skirt that has been photographed above. It’s subtle and doesn’t detract from the dress! The original Victor Costa label is missing, but a quick google search confirmed our suspicions (and hopes) that this is, in fact, an authentic Costa creation. We assumed so given that the designer’s signature flair for dramatic silhouettes and vibrant prints is all on display here. The dress is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear!
