1940’s Liquid Satin House Dress

$175.00
Sold Out

This exquisite 1940’s house dress is made from a soft, blush-pink liquid satin that drapes beautifully. Its silhouette is classically feminine, featuring structured puff shoulders that taper into long sleeves, a fitted waist tied with a generous sash bow, and a flowing ankle-length skirt. The bodice is adorned with delicate floral lace across the upper chest and shoulders, creating a romantic vibe. Down the front runs a line of fabric-covered buttons. The piece fastens at the front and showcases impeccable tailoring through subtle gathers at the shoulders and waist, creating graceful shape and volume. This 1940’s gem does show signs of its age, with a few small faint spots, some wear and discoloration on the buttons, and two tiny pinholes in the fabric as shown above. These imperfections are consistent with age and do not detract from the dress’s beauty!

Measurements: Bust 38”, Waist 32”, Shoulder 12”, Sleeve 21”, Waist to Hem 41”, Shoulder to Hem 56”
