This 1960’s hand-tailored fit-and-flare dress is such a stunning piece pairing a rich, ruby-red velvet bodice with a full ivory skirt in a floral embossed satin. The bodice is beautifully structured with a squared neckline and slender straps. The skirt cascades from the waist in generous gathers, giving it that classic swooshy volume while the jacquard floral pattern adds texture. A unique detail of its construction is the dual-zip closure! The bodice and skirt each have their own zipper that meet at the waist. The dress was freshly dry cleaned, and it does have two stains on the skirt, both photographed clearly above for transparency. Even with these imperfections, the piece remains incredibly special, full of that timeless holiday-card glamour!
