1950s Silk Chiffon
Mid century 1950s featherweight silk chiffon fit & flare dress with a gorgeous floral print & flowing blue chiffon waterfall shawls cascading behind both shoulders. The print is a dusky landscape of purple, blue and green flowers in bloom - the chartreuse chrysanthemums are especially eye-catching. The skirt is made fuller with a layer of tulle underneath, and that is again lined with a nylon slip for comfort. This dress is in great shape; however, there are a few holes in the blue chiffon shawl at the shoulder on the left, and some discoloration to the dress’ lining in the bodice.
