Beautiful set of four Swedish Mid Century teak dining chairs by Svegards of Markaryd, Sweden! Featuring a classic Scandinavian Modern design with clean lines, warm teak wood tones, and beautifully crafted ladder backs. Each chair showcases a tall, gently curved backrest with five horizontal wooden slats, creating an elegant, airy silhouette. The rich teak frames feature lovely natural wood grain, subtly tapered legs, and gently rounded edges that highlight the simplicity and craftsmanship of Swedish Mid Century furniture. The seats are upholstered in a dark chocolate brown woven fabric. Small metal feet add a subtle decorative touch to the otherwise understated design. Produced by Svegards of Markaryd, Sweden, a Swedish furniture manufacturer associated with the Scandinavian Modern furniture movement. The company produced functional, beautifully crafted wooden furniture that reflected the clean lines, natural materials, and practical elegance characteristic of mid-century Swedish design. All four chairs have been fully refinished, beautifully refreshing the wood and bringing out the warmth and natural character of the teak grain! They present wonderfully, with some minor signs of age and previous use remaining. One chair has a leg that sits at a slight angle, but this does not affect the structural integrity or stability of the chair! A gorgeous set of Swedish Mid Century dining chairs that would look right at home around a teak dining table or mixed into a modern interior!
Measurements: Seat Height 18”, Seat Width 18”, Depth 15.75”, Back Height 35.75”
