Vintage 1970s teak dining table designed by Neils Møller for Gudme Møbelfabrik, Denmark. The dining table is teak and comes with two leaves, allowing it to expand & seat up to 8, maybe even 10. The manufacturer’s label is still attached to the table’s underside. The designer was discovered based on archival research,l found online and in catalogs. The base is solid teak and each foot has an adjustable screw to balance the table in case your floor is uneven. The top has been refinished, and looks absolutely stunning. I gave it three coats of Behr brand spar urethane for its durability and impenetrability - so it’s extremely well-protected.
The seven chairs all have teak frames and their original upholstery. Unfortunately, four of the chairs’ fabric has discoloration and some minor distress. However, three of the chairs’s fabric remains in excellent condition. Perhaps a similar fabric could be found to match the three that are still in great shape. Two chairs are captains’ chairs with arms. Most of the chairs still have their original label attached from Scandinavia Woodworks Co.
The set is priced as-is given the condition of the chairs. I would prefer to sell this as a set but please let us know if you are interested in either the table or set of chairs alone. If we can find buyers for each before we find a buyer for the set, I’d be happy to split up the set. Priced individually, the table will be $2000 & the chairs will be $950 as-is for the set of seven.
