This enormous sculptural piece of art is just the ticket if you’re into post modern design. Absolutely monumental, it’s constructed of a stunning dark stained, rustic wood parquet with dazzling mother-of-pearl and white marble inlays. Made with both an eye for detail and design, this piece is also extremely well-made and cleverly designed to stand entirely on its own at a slight, backward angle. It does not need to be hung or made more secure by leaning against a wall. It is stable standing on its own. You could also switch its orientation and have it longways, which is how the original had it displayed. It also stands alone in this position. The iridescent mother of pearl shimmers in many shades of iridescence including ivory, coral, aquamarine, champagne, silver and gold. These bright bursts of delicate opalescence contrast beautifully with the dark green-brown finish of the wood, and its broad, brutalist composition. The geometric motif of the inlay creates a fabulous visual, artisanal display that will vye for eye and steal your gaze! It’s equal parts mirror and portal to another world ✨ This mirror is in beautiful condition with no major issues outside of what’s expected for a piece its size and age, namely some small dents and scratches to the wood, but this frame was made to look rustic & given intentional dents and scratches.
