Mid Century Brass & Teak Valet Stand

$325.00
Sold Out

This sculptural mid-century modern valet stand is equal parts functional storage piece and statement décor! Crafted from warm-toned teak and brass, it features a striking stylized bull’s head with wooden horns crowning the hanger, giving it a distinctly modernist silhouette. The broad shoulder form was designed to support jackets, coats, and other garments, helping them maintain their shape after pressing while allowing for easy brushing and airing between wears—a traditional valet feature that remains just as useful today. The stand includes a generously sized catchall tray, perfect for holding a watch, jewelry, keys, glasses, or other daily essentials, while the brass bar below provides a convenient place to drape trousers, scarves, or accessories. A three-footed brass base offers stability, accented by a circular teak platform that echoes the rich wood tones of the upper tray and horn details. A wonderful blend of form and function, this valet stand makes a handsome addition to a bedroom, dressing room, entryway, office, or retail display! In good vintage condition with age-appropriate patina to the brass. There is one crack to the teak base platform, as shown, but it remains intact, stable, and fully usable without detracting from the piece’s overall presentation and functionality!
