Mid century Lane dresser from the late ‘60s/early ‘70s made of warm walnut, patinated to perfection giving this piece a rich, titian tint that can’t be reproduced. The sides feature thin fluted panels of walnut, adding texture and dimension to a classic design. The sculpted and sculptural wooden handles add curves and rounded corners to the dresser’s clean, modern lines. The mirror may be attached using the brackets and screws provided. The brackets are situated in the center of the dresser but may be moved to either side of the center, in case that works better in your space. The top of the mirror features more fluted paneling that matches the dresser’s sides, and the top of the frame is arched. The top of the dresser is an extremely durable formica with a wood grain design.
This piece is in excellent condition. It exhibits minimal evidence of use, all of which is normal for its age. No issues that merit a mention. In the photographs taken from both sides, or at an angle, of the entire dresser, you may notice some inconsistencies to the finish on the drawer faces - this is just wood conditioner that I had not completely rubbed in. The photos of the front of the dresser are a more accurate representation of the drawers’ finish; with no visible blemishes.
