Mid Century Martin Gershun for American of Martinsville End Tables • Pair of 2
A pair of mid century nightstands or side tables, designed by Martin Gershun for American of Martinsville. One long, deep, drawer in each with a gold tone metal pull. The drawers are as long and wide as the table itself, so there’s more room in there than you might think, and they slide open and close with ease. The long, tapered legs are solid walnut, and in excellent condition, no issues with wobbling and no loose legs. I refinished the tops on these; so the tops are flawless. Everything else was in excellent condition. The only mentionable is a ding/dent on the edge of one table (see photos). These were purchased from their one-time, original owners. They chose to have one with the metal inlays, and one without (see tops). Both drawers are marked “American of Martinsville”.
