Mid century credenza or dresser by Young Manufacturing Co. featuring a striking design across three large drawers and two sliding doors. The sliding doors have beautifully grained, oblong burl wood panels that really set this piece apart from other comparable designs of this time. The three long drawers also have burl wood inlays providing an attractive background for its long, sculpted wooden pulls. Behind the two sliding doors are six more medium-sized, tray-style drawers, which provide a view of their contents without having to open them. All of the drawers are crafted with dovetail joints across all four corners of each drawer. These drawers provide a ton of storage. Use as a credenza in a living room/den area for any number of household items that need a place, or as a dresser in a bedroom for clothing.
This piece is in great condition, with only two issues that merit a mention. The bottom back corner on the right side has a visible repair to the veneer, but you have to look for it to find it. And the sliding doors have scratched the top and bottom drawers a little bit, but it’s not terribly noticeable. This should not happen and has only occurred at some point as a result of the drawers not being fully closed before the sliding doors were opened. Other than that, only a few minor, minimal imperfections, all commensurate with age and use and what you would expect to find on a high-use piece from this time.

All sales final: It is our mission to disclose all issues found, but all of our items are vintage - which means most of them have been worn or used and may have minor issues. In the event that we have overlooked an issue, it is not because we misrepresented the item, it is because the issue was not apparent enough to demand our attention. We can only apologize for our oversight and hope you can either repair the issue or resell the item, but we do not accept returns for items we have photographed & listed on our website.
