Stunning Danish dining table designed by Laurits M. Larson in incredible condition from the 1970s. Both the table top and the pedestal base are made of beautifully patterned teak. The top includes two large leaves, extending the circle to an oval of substantial length that will accommodate a large number of chairs . There is hardware underneath that locks each leaf firmly and seamlessly in place. Superb craftsmanship throughout with a solid, beveled band along the edge of the table - a lovely touch of design that adds contrast and symmetry to the piece. The pedestal base is also solid teak. The table top is marked underneath, stamped by the designer, Laurits Larson, and “made in Denmark”.
