We are thrilled to present this stunning dresser and mirror set, probably from the mid- to late ‘70s and in truly incredible condition given its age. This dresser is majority teak with rich rosewood accents and trim, including the mirror’s frame. This creates a lovely contrast, and the rosewood really brings out the gorgeous grain in the heavily patterned teak. Another striking design detail here is the dresser’s plinth platform base and the degree to which it is recessed from the dresser’s bottom edges - lending the piece a levity and intrigue that feels fresh and modern. Lovely and slender, but long, with six spacious drawers and a center cabinet with one shelf behind two doors. Beautifully sculpted teak handles across its drawers and doors. The mirror attaches to the back of the dresser by simply drilling two screws, included. The insides of the drawers show zero evidence of use. The original owners had this in a guest bedroom, which was rarely used. There are a few minor imperfections across the dressers’ top, all photographed.
