Vintage teak vanity made in Thailand by Sun Cabinet Co. from the late ‘70s ~ early ‘80s. This piece opens up to reveal a mirror under the lid and an impressive amount of storage, with one deep space toward the back and one shallow space toward the front. To the left of the lift-up lid is a small but deep felt-lined drawer. This vanity is compact but substantial in weight, with a nice, solid substrate beneath that gorgeous, vintage veneer - which may explain why it’s in such great shape despite its age. My favorite feature is the hydraulic hinge on the heavy, mirrored lid. This will prevent it from falling and the glass breaking. There is an area with light surface scratches on the top of the lid, hardly noticeable. Otherwise excellent condition. The tray and ottoman are not original to the piece, but the former owner used them with it and you are welcome to have them with the purchase.
