An exceptional example of 1920’s Neiger Brothers Egyptian Revival jewelry, this striking Art Deco necklace was crafted in Czechoslovakia during the height of the Egyptian Revival craze that followed the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922. The necklace features an ornate gilt brass setting adorned with vibrant cobalt blue Czech glass cabochons, elongated glass bars, and a dramatic faceted pale blue crystal centerpiece. The articulated fringe is finished with delicate beaded drops and larger bell-shaped pendants that sway beautifully with movement, creating an elegant flapper-era silhouette.
