Late 1980’s–early 1990’s 14K yellow gold ruby & cubic zirconia stud earrings featuring an elegant curved spray design. Each earring is set with three marquise-cut deep pinkish-red rubies, arranged along sweeping, dimensional ribbons of polished yellow gold. Small round brilliant-cut cubic zirconia stones are scattered throughout the design, adding delicate flashes of sparkle and contrast against the richly colored rubies. The earrings have a sculptural, slightly asymmetrical crescent silhouette with openwork construction that gives them a light, airy appearance while still making a statement on the ear. Traditional post backs. Approximately 3/4” across based on the measurement photos. The rubies have a vivid raspberry-to-magenta red appearance with natural variations visible between the stones.
