This elegant pendant necklace by Bucherer is a fabulous example of Swiss made ladies’ watch design. On a long gold plated chain, it sits just below your heart- a romantic (and practical!) accessory, perfect for casual wear and easy to dress up for formal wear. Mechanically wound with stick indexes and a 12 hour format, it exudes adorable vintage charm. This piece is plated in bright, shiny gold, typical of the high-end Swiss watch atelier. The gold plating on the watch face has some slight wear, as well as some loss to the gold on the chain’s clasp. Engraved on the front with a geometric sun shape, and stars on the back, this piece exemplifies the celestial and astrological fascination of the 70’s. This watch is in great condition, with the only flaws being minor cosmetic losses to the gold plating.
Chain is 30” long total, with a 15” drop. Pendant is just over 1” in diameter.
