1920s~30s Antique Sleeping Cap
Fantastic antique sleeping cap from the 1920s~1930s. This is such a charming example of the skill & whimsy with which they handcrafted clothing and accessories at this time in history. This is truly a one-of-kind piece and a fantastic example of flapper era sleepwear. Pink silk satin and pink crochet work is embellished with delightful daisies along the cloche style cap’s front side. And another daisy crowns the cap’s top center.
Condition: near mint, with a few open areas in the silk fabric, which I believe is from age and not wear, as this cap demonstrates no other evidence of wear.
