Never Worn 1930s Peach Silk Underwear with Cutout Sides • S
1930s peach silk underwear with cutouts on the sides. I can’t find another pair like them or any information regarding this style of underwear or the purpose of the cutouts. Perhaps to more easily allow the removal of stockings from garter belts, without removing the underwear. All of the trim is embellished with lace and there is more embroidery across both sides of the front. The waist is elastic and very stretchy. These also have a very high waist. The silk is soft and velvety.
Condition: these antique underwear appear to have never been worn. One very faint spot on front lace, see photographs. No rips or tears. The elastic is still super stretchy and but it is showing signs of deterioration. But again, these are otherwise clean all over with zero sign of wear.
Size & Measurements: this would best fit as a size small but see measurements to ensure a good fit: waist 24”-29” Hips 38” Front rise 15” Back rise 18”
