Never Worn 1930s Silk Satin Brassiere Camisole • XL

$110.00
Sold Out

Stunning silk satin cropped camisole, or brassiere, from the 1930s with elaborate lace shoulders, lace yoke and other accents featuring a floral motif . Detailed three dimensional flowery embroidery. Embossed ivory and pink ribbons create blooming rosettes embellishing both sides of the top where the straps meet the top hem. Here, also, along the top hem are eyelets for a ribbon that acts like a drawstring. This ribbon simply ties in a bow for closure at the neckline, above four more tiny metal snaps for closure down the front to the cropped waist. The cropped, empire waist has elastic, which is still stretchy. However, it is not extremely stretchy, and I wouldn’t recommend stressing it much when worn. It could also be given new elastic. This top appears to have never been worn, and I have not found any issues or mentionables.

Pit to pit & doubled 42” Bust, side to side & doubled 46” Waist, side to side & doubled 36”-40” Length of side seams 11” Straps, length of one strap from top of shoulder top hem 5”
