This 1950’s formal dress is a luminous example of mid-century eveningwear! The bodice is crafted in yellow satin with a beautifully wrapped construction, giving it a sculpted, ruched effect. From the left side, an attached tulle wrap drapes elegantly, offering versatility in styling as it can be worn over the shoulders or cascading down for added drama. The skirt is fashioned in airy white tulle, layered with horizontal yellow satin ribbon details. It does appear to have been let out on the right side of the dress, which could be left or taken back in if desired. There are some small stains present, most noticeable on the satin portions, but they are subtle and do not detract from the overall beauty of the dress!
