This stunning late 1960’s ~ early 1970’s four-piece set by Palena Knitwear is an exceptional ensemble! The set comes with its original tags still attached. The set includes a pair of tailored high-waisted knit trousers, a ribbed knit mock-neck sweater, a striped knit vest, and a suede-front knit blazer, all in a perfectly matched shade of powder blue. The trousers feature a structured, high-rise waist with a front zip closure and long, fluid legs. The sweater is made from 100 % pure zephyr wool, soft and fine-gauge with a stretch ribbed texture and a high turtleneck secured with a metal zipper. The coordinating vest is made from the same lightweight wool with ivory pinstripes and features a V-neckline, full front button closure, and a sharply pointed hem. The finishing layer, a wool-suede blazer, ties the entire look together with a structured notched lapel, covered buttons, front patch pockets, and full knit sleeves and back. Both jacket and vest still has their original Berman International tags and replacement buttons.
