This incredible 1970’s handmade maxi skirt is made from vintage Mavericks jeans that have been thoughtfully transformed into a one-of-a-kind denim and tapestry patchwork statement piece! The original jeans construction remains at the waist with classic belt loops, pockets, and sturdy denim structure, while the skirt flares into a full, flowing maxi made from a playful mix of denim panels and richly patterned tapestry textiles. The patchwork features earthy reds, muted blues, and geometric woven motifs that give the skirt depth & movement. Delicate embroidery is worked directly into the denim, including a beautifully stitched tree that climbs organically across the fabric and a butterfly rendered in soft thread work. A separate embroidered butterfly patch adds another charming detail. Tapestry patches have been intentionally sewn onto the front left pocket and the back right pocket, highlighting the care and creativity that went into every detail of this piece.
