1980’s Betsey Johnson Punk Label corseted floral print prairie dress. Cut from a soft, stretchy poly–cotton–lycra blend in a saturated teal jersey knit scattered with a black calico floral print. It has that signature Betsey balance of sweetness and edge, with a fitted bodice, long sleeves, a drop waist, and a beautifully draped full skirt that moves with the body. Two slant pockets blend seamlessly into the skirt for that effortless, wearable touch. Black crochet trim graces the cuffs and hem in a crisp contrast, while a slim black ribbon traces the waistline to subtly define the shape. The back may be the best detail of all: a deep scoop finished with corset-style lacing that can be drawn in to customize the fit with the ties trailing at the lower back for that perfect bit of drama. There are faint, barely noticeable stains throughout and a tiny pinhole at the lower back, both of which disappear into the print when worn.
