This lovely 1940’s dressing gown by iconic sleepwear brand Saybury features a romantic silhouette and many thoughtful details. Made of dark blue cold rayon in a novelty apostrophe print, it is about as 1940’s as a dressing gown can get. Cut in a tea length with a three quarter sleeves, this piece is extremely flattering with a full wrap skirt and shoulder pads to accentuate the 1940’s hourglass silhouette. Secured at the waist with 2 huge mother of pearl buttons, it can be worn as a robe or a dress, especially if you add extra security via a snap or hook. This piece is in great condition for its age, but does have some areas of wear and some mends (along shoulders and waist). One deep pocket on right hip.
