Y2K Studio 17 Prom for House of Wu full-length evening gown in a rich mocha brown chiffon, featuring elaborate all-over hand-applied sequin and beadwork in an organic, swirling abstract pattern. The embellishment mixes warm gold, bronze, copper and iridescent silver tones, creating tons of sparkle and dimension against the chocolate-mocha ground. Designed with a plunging V-neckline and wide halter-style straps that cross dramatically at the open back. A sheer mesh illusion panel wraps around the waist, heavily embellished to blend into the surrounding beadwork while creating a subtle cutout effect. The fitted, softly gathered bodice transitions into a long flowing A-line skirt with generous movement and a layered chiffon hem. The back is especially striking, with crisscross straps trimmed in coordinating sequins and beads, an open-back construction and additional sheer mesh detailing through the lower bodice. The gown is fully lined through the areas requiring coverage, allowing the lightweight chiffon overlay to retain its fluid, airy drape. Original Studio 17 Prom for House of Wu hang tags remain attached, as well as its small packet containing extra fabric and replacement beads/sequins! Overall in great condition with some scattered missing beads and sequins throughout, consistent with the delicate nature of the embellishment. The losses are relatively subtle within the densely beaded pattern and do not detract from the overall presentation!
Measurements: Bust 30”, Waist 25”, Hips 37”, Waist to Hem Front 42”, Back 49.5”, Shoulder to Hem Front 58.5”, Back 67”
