This glamorous 1980’s Alyce Designs evening gown is an absolute showstopper, covered in intricate hand-applied beadwork and shimmering sequins. Crafted in black silk, the gown features a dramatic radiating motif of iridescent gold sequins, metallic bugle beads and dimensional gold beads sweeping across the shoulders, bodice and hip before cascading down one side of the skirt. The remaining areas are scattered with black bugle beads for a beautifully textured, tonal finish. The fitted silhouette is balanced by strong structured shoulders and long sheer sleeves, which are embroidered and embellished with black bugle beads and finished with delicate beaded cuffs. A softly sculpted sweetheart-style neckline is edged in tiny black beads, while the back makes an equally dramatic statement with a large plunging keyhole opening extending nearly to the waist. A concealed zipper at the lower back keeps the silhouette sleek.
