This is a Victor Costa design from Fine Feathers, a small but beloved high-end boutique at the height of its popularity in the 1980s. The Costa label is not present but a quick image search will show you that this is, in fact, a Victor Costa - which Fine Feathers bought and sold regularly. The bold, primary colored stripes are impossible to ignore with their eye-catching design and bright multi-colored patterns. Made of 100% cotton and fully lined with a built in crinoline, it’s both comfortable enough for a garden party and formal enough for a summer wedding. Accented by a bright cobalt knit fabric waistband and bow sash- which snaps on to the skirt to cover the waist fastenings. This dress is so perfectly 80’s, from the asymmetrical peplum to the boned strapless bodice, it’s everything you want in an 80’s party dress. Freshly dry cleaned and ready to dance again!
