Absolutely stunning 1980’s Andretta Donatello evening gown, crafted in rich emerald green silk and absolutely dripping in tonal beadwork and sequins. The fitted halter-style bodice is densely covered in shimmering green bugle beads, creating an almost jeweled effect, while the waist dips into a flattering curved point at the front. The long, sleek skirt features a more open, free-form squiggle pattern of green bugle beads with scattered sequins, allowing the silk chiffon underneath to show through and giving the gown beautiful movement. A dramatic thigh-high slit adds to the silhouette, while the hem is finished with additional rows of beadwork. The back is especially striking, with a completely open design and slender beaded straps that cross high between the shoulders. A zipper at the lower back keeps the fit clean and close to the body. Even better, this gown still retains its original Andretta Donatello tags, along with the original little packet of matching replacement beads and sequins—a wonderful detail to find intact after roughly 40 years!
