Stunning 1980’s all-silk evening gown featuring a dramatic black and metallic gold beaded design. The fitted silhouette has a plunging V-neckline, long sheer sleeves, and a low V-back with zipper closure. Intricate gold bugle beads create oversized, sweeping floral and botanical motifs across the bodice, shoulders, hips, and skirt, contrasted by scattered black bugle beading throughout. A back slit adds even more drama to the sleek, floor-length silhouette. This piece does show areas of bead loss, most noticeably along the back near the center seam/zipper and in a few scattered areas throughout. Loose threads and evidence of the original beadwork remain visible in these spots. Despite the loss, the elaborate overall pattern remains beautifully intact and the gown still has incredible visual impact!
