1960’s shadow plaid wool blend overcoat featuring a beautiful combination of muted olive green, rust, brown, and warm beige tones that blend together in a soft, almost watercolor-like plaid pattern. Made from a substantial 85% wool and 15% nylon blend with a wonderfully textured, slightly fuzzy finish. This gorgeous coat features a classic double-breasted front with oversized pointed lapels, structured shoulders, long sleeves, and a flattering, gently flared silhouette. One of the standout details is the fabulous set of decorative buttons down the front, featuring glossy chocolate brown domed centers surrounded by sculptural silver-tone circular frames. Additional details include two generously sized vertical front pockets, a tailored back with a decorative half-belt that comes to a point at the center, and beautiful seaming that creates fullness through the lower portion of the coat. Fully lined in a lovely coordinating rust-colored satin fabric, with additional interior buttons near the hem. In great vintage condition, beautifully preserved and ready to wear!
