Late 1980’s to early 1990’s Dove & Johnny cocktail dress in a gorgeous silvery blue-gray. This glamorous dress features a fitted halter bodice fashioned from lace and heavily embellished with shimmering sequins, dimensional ribbonwork and sparkling rhinestone cluster accent buttons down the front. The V-neckline is finished with matching satin piping, while the fitted waist and pointed bodice create a flattering, corset-inspired silhouette. The embellished bodice gives way to a full satin skirt with a beautiful soft sheen and plenty of movement. The open-back halter neckline fastens with hook-and-eye closures at the nape, with a center-back zipper for closure. In good condition with some faint scattered stains/marks on the skirt, as photographed. These are relatively subtle overall but noted for transparency. Minor age-related wear may also be present among the intricate lace, sequins and embellishments.
