The sweetest vintage Laura Ashley dress from the late 80s~early 90s with the most adorable petite flouncy peplum along the pointed Basque waistline, an elegant, elongated torso which achieves the illusion of, or augments, an hourglass silhouette. Another elegant detail here are the short cape sleeves, unlike any I’ve ever seen in the way they both cap and cascade over the shoulders and upper arms - gathered and cinched behind small bows where they meet the dress’ bodice. The skirt is full and has two pockets on both sides of the hips. Fabric is 100% cotton and features an all-over and dense expanse of fuchsia, pink and green flora. Zipper up back for closure. Freshly hand washed.
